Everything for this site is operated by one person. JanimeS has been online since year 1998.
What this site offers (mainly) is translated comics from both Korea and Japan. Those can be found under Projects and downloads. You may also visit the forum to talk with others.
JanimeS is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) site. JanimeS won't send any sort of files

Project update - January 3rd 2012
Last updated @ Jan 04 2012 03:10 PM
So, here comes 2012. Hm, I wish I cared about that.

Issue Magazine 2012 Feb edition.
1. Nobody knows : With the chapter included in this edition, some mysteries are solved clearly but more mysteries will be given. But the overall plot seems to become much clearer with more clues given.
2. Love : Nothing to comment

Here is Nobody knows volume 1.
P.S. I know some sites are taking the volume pictures and using them for their own credit. Watch what you are doing. Do not make me put JanimeS logo on these pictures. State where you've gotten the pictures from.

Above are bonus materials when you purchased Issue magazine Feb edition.
Project update - November 4th 2011

So, here is Issue December edition.
1. Nobody knows : There is a slight plot progression in this episode but you are likely to miss the plot device if you read carelessly.
2. Love : Nothing much to note. Plot is sailing smoothly so far.
3. Kyle's final fantasy : I am considering dropping this one. The author seems to be out of ideas.
Ciel is also in this magazine and the series has gone for too long. Its plot is rotten and smells now. The author dragged the story too far.
As for Love @ first sight, as I've said before repeatedly numerous times, it is no longer the series I used to like. It is now simply a cash cow.
As for Nabi, the plot seems to be heading toward the end but, of course, with a lot of holes in its plot. The author herself probably doesn't know answers to those plot holes and I don't expect her to fill those up by its end.
P.S.
I believe I've said this before, but I will no longer pick up new series to scan. I will continue, for now, to scan the magazine and pick new ones from there, but I will no longer choose series outside of the magazine.
I am stating this again because I've received some PMs with requests to scanlate new series they want to read. Your requests won't be granted and I won't hear them.
I am currently eying a good time to end my scanlation saga; it won't be soon though since I do want to finish ones I currently have, including Ii-Hito and few other dropped projects which were my true favorites.
Project update - December 13th 2011

1. Nobody knows : The plot is slowly forming up. If you are perceptive, you should be able to vaguely shape (or figure out) the plot.
2. Love : Still has some ways to go until some form of climax.

Seol Hui volume 7.
I think the author may be eying for a long series this time. Her works usually ended in 4 ~ 6 volumes. The only exception was Normal City which was her masterpiece.

Shiwhamong volume 14.
Shiwhamong is a typical example of Korean drama. The only reason Shiwhamong's plot cannot be made into a drama is that the triplets are all underaged.
Having said that "a tpypical Korean drama" also means over-the-top (unnecessary, illogical) climaxes.
P.S.
I absolutely liked how Siesta volume 3 ended. If you are a long time user of JanimeS, you'd know that I don't give out praises often.
