Hmph

Quick Summery

Kang Han-Se and Ban Ha-Da have known each other ever since their childhood. They are close enough to sleep in the same room still at their current age.

"Three men for you," Kang Han-Se's mother tells Ban, Ha-Da on the day of graduation. As soon as Ban, Ha-Da starts her life as a high school student, her love life starts.

Another take on the plot

Rough drawing & Rough plot are probably what you may feel as soon as you start reading this manhwa. This manhwa is drawn by Lee Si Young. This author has also drawn the one-shot homosexual manhwa, "And", carried in Issue magazine November edition 2008.

There are one male and one female protagonists in this manhwa.

The guy's name is Kang, Han-Se. The girl's name is Ban, Ha-Da. If you know Korean, you will find their names weird immediately. "Kang Han Se" in Korean sounds like "A strong bird". And "Ban Ha Da" in Korean sounds like "Falling in love".

Just like their names indicate, the guy will act strong and always fly around the girl (meaning keeping a certain distance from her). And the girl will fall in love with a lot of guys. In fact, she does go out with a lot of guys. However, her relationships do not last long and she always falls back to Kang, Han Se in every fallout where he'd give advices to her to find new guys.

Kang Han-Se does have feelings for Ban Ha-Da. In fact, his feelings are very strong. His feelings toward her becomes more solidified and evident as plot progresses.

Additional Info

This manhwa is currently divided into two seasons.

Season 1 is concluded with 4 volumes. Season 2 is currently ongoing.

Ah. That name fact is really interesting, and as I can't understand a scrap of Korean, I would've never known if I hadn't read this.

Also, I'm really enjoying this manhwa right now. The art is a bit different, but it's a nice change from the exaggerated shoujos that I have been reading recently. The story line also has a lot of promise, [I'm still near the beginning] and although the female protagonist is an idiot, it makes for a comical read.

Thanks for your work on this entertaining series!

I don't usually read shoujo, because I rarely find the characters interesting, but this time I had a pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting much, but I found a charming story, with silly, but not really stupid characters.
I was in doubt for a long time regarding the relationship between the two main characters, and I'm still not sure what to believe. And that's pretty amazing, considering that in a chapter they were shown as being tied by a string of fate :)

I was actually expecting for something cliched, the normal cliche romance stories about a couple who grew up together but i end up getting more and more drawn into the two main characters. It's different.
In season 2, it seems like there's a strong rival unlike in season 1, where 3 different guys entered the girl's life but only 1 has appeared so far in season 2...

This is really getting more and more interesting and the girl really grows, i find her to be more pretty than ever.
It's quite a genius story actually. There's this strange attraction.

I love how the author portrays Ha Da. Instead of the usual irritating fashion for shoujo manhwa or manga, Ha Da's behaviors in her love life is more acceptable. Therefore , I am being drawn to this more realistic personalized character. Although, the using childhood friends as the plot can be usual but the addition element of supernatural makes the mahwa attractive enough. The moments of explore in the characters' past allow us to be indulge in the story! :D Hard to find one such heart tempting manhwa. I was indeed surprise that I am so into this manhwa currently. Hope this passion of mine for Love @ First Sight would continue to burn and never die until the end of the volumes!
Lots of love :)
I love this world bcus this world loves me as well, just fair enough.

I love this so much!! The story is so interesting with a story line that will make one find it hard to figure out how would the end look like. Highly suggested this for one who rarely read manhwa!
