However, the most ironic word: Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia (the fear of big words)

Ah, I use very formal English to piss off people during competitions who are wasting time trying to understand what I said in my contentions as they write with what they CX me.

And that would be mean. (if funny in a cruel way)

I later learned that his whole team's cases were made by the coach. Ah, gotta love flows.
Edit: It means cross-examining.

so I looked it up with google...automobile by citroen? No sense...
so I spoke it out slowly...sounds naughty...doesn't really make sense in context...
so...I decided to wait for an explanation..."cross-examining"...sure...that makes sense.
Oh...and please continue...I just installed a one-click-dictionary that needs to be tested.

Public doesn't have CX.........Ah, I forgot Pofo (but they call it the "questioning period" in an attempt to distance themselves from anything policy). That's three out of four that have CX though... I was assuming we were talking about debate, but yes in trials they also have CX.
Which leads me to the question, is mock trial any good? Is it worth the time and energy?

I don't think so. Sometimes I feel it is a waste of time. Mock trials does help to give experience, at least. Why not try it out, or ask around?
Edit: I didn't join because I am too busy.

But anyway, Public doesn't have CX, you just ask questions after the first minute of every speech. Which either means you don't ask questions or you ask a ton of questions to mess up the entire team. It's hard to know what the happy medium is though, since Public judges are as fickle as hell.

I had this one coach from college helping out our team who judged, but she was clearly bias against this kid 'cause he cracked this unwise joke about her, and stuff happened.
