Platinum Trophy beeyeotch!

This game and its story is wicked good.

Only problem is it's slow. There's no running, no skipping scenes, no fast forwarding conversations.

So if you are replaying a chapter for whatever reason you will replay the WHOLE DAMN CHAPTER. Multiple times depending on your story agenda or trophy agenda which has an absurd near 50 trophies or so.

If you have the patience for interactive drama Heavy Rain is for you.

If you liked games like Shenmue, Hotel Dusk, Phoenix Wright, heavy rain is like that except it's on steroids.

I've heard a lot of positive reviews about it. Sounds fun.

Plus, who wouldn't turn down Phoenix Wright on steroids? Posted Image

yes heavy rain is a downright great game. It had a emotional level which games today dont give you these days. At time i actually felt sorry for the characters and the decisions i had to make as i played actually made me scared cause i didnt want to F--- up. Honestly hands down this is a classic.

Dude where the hell you been at?

Believe it or not no choice you make can screw up the game.

Even suicide is an acceptable solution go figure...

Still haven't gotten the chance to pick up Heavy Rain; been thinking about doing it with my latest paycheck.

However I've played the demo at least 10 times and it's enthralling to say the very least. I've spent no more than 30 minutes to an hour at a time immersed in this world and I'm already drawn in further than many books or movies of recent generations. It's been quite a while since a game invoked such emotional attachments for me- not since Mass Effect, if I remember my uh... Passionate feelings correctly.

Well if your sister comes to play, DZ wants to holla at her for a minute. maybe two.

And you still owe me a an RE session anyways.

However he'll waive the RE session for a session with your sister.

Just because there's a goalie doesn't mean you cant score =P

The guy on youtube that plays the game while adding his own comments is hilarious.
"If so, how sad it is, as we leave childhood behind, that we are taught in countless explicit and implicit ways to work hard rather than to play joyfully. We find ourselves in imprisoned on an iron rack of contingencies. We are taught to do one thing only to achieve another thing. Study hard so that you’ll get good grade. Get good grade so that you’ll get into a good college. Get into a good college so that you’ll get a good job. Get a good job and work hard so that you can have the good things in life. By the time you get the “good things,” however, you can barely remember how to play."

Like the last time i said.
I've just really been swamped with school, work, working out and GF.
I wake up everyday at 6:30 to go to school/work at 8-6:30. Then Im working out or spending time with gf till its time to work out.
Then any time in between I got hwk and studying to do.
busy busy busy
I check on janimes every now and then but dont really have anything to say cause I dont really do anything anymore =/
So now im ghost status... woooooooooo

You should make time for DZ. There's enough room in your big old fuzzy arse kicking heart for D Sizzle.

Finally played the taxidermist. It's roughly 7 minutes of gameplay. Thank goodness mine was free. DZ cannot imagine the scorn people must be fling for those who paid 10 bucks.
