Apparently James Cameron is a fan of Battle Angel Alita where once signed for director he somehow had everyone fired and was given complete creative control. So he will now be writing his own script which he says is based on the first three manga volumes as well as producing an directing it.

Given his track record for consistently producing the biggest grossing movies of all time ( at time of release)
Terminator 2
Titanic
Avatar

It's hard to argue his capabilities. Though factoring in hollyood consistent butchering of japanese titles
-Blood
-Dragonball Evolution
Seem Old Jim has a hell of an uphill battle.

I'm sure I probably won't like it, but it may be decent.

This scares me.

:/

Eat, sleep, and breathe that you're full of the stuff
Go back, get tied up tight
Wheat meat, dairy free tea told so happy clappy high on life
You should try it, you know, go on while no one's looking.

A-ha! Caught you now
Caught ya red handed in the biscuit tin
Cost you to keep me quiet.
