Script has been finished. Nolan states it will be the last batman film he does and it will have a definitive conclusion. There will be no robin or expanding of the batman mythos.
Also stated two major factors:
1. It will not be like spiderman 3 with a clusterbuck of all star villains and a plot that makes no sense. We're sticking to the central theme of a darker realistic batman that features only batman.
2. We're not releasing any information. We saw what happened with terminator Salvation and witnessed the wrath of Christian Bale upset at the official script and ending leaked to the internet which forced an emergency re-write and effective ruined what could have been a blockbuster movie.

Anyways, I think people would go see it regardless of whether it was leaked. Unless it's really final and batman is dead.
